Sorry peeps, this news is not good, looks like EU MEP`s on commission (Private closed meetingS)have sold us down the river. Greater restrictions stated, worst than "Medication". Virtual TOTAL BAN. It a long document, so allow 30 mins to digest the utter `crap` proposed. Killer fags available anywhere in plain packages. E- Cigs = cig a likes. yet to pass all new regs. NOTHING ELSE ALLOWED, INCLUDING JUICES. Time to put even more effort to wake up those un educated, MEP`s & MP, of whats going on in Brussels. www.clivebates.com/?p=1670

I can see a lot of 'criminals' being created by this. They can't actually stop heroin, crack and a load of other drugs. I bet nicotine will be available from China etc, so every parcel will need to be checked.
The rest of the stuff needed is uncontrollable.
Just stupid.

@johanino Has all to be finalised by end of March 2014, as Greece become handover nation for EU Parliament.
IF it goes through, yet to be final argues in EU parl, next meeting taking place 16th December.
We still can win and stop this Ban, but it needs everyone to help, that`s why tweeter, FB, e-mails, letters and visits to MP`s & MEP`s so important.
Spread the word. STOP THE BAN - SAVE OUR E_CIGS. E-Cigs SAVE LIVES.

Genuinely serious BUT MEP still are not supporting these proposals . As @jeffcsaid there is a meeting of the Council of Ministers (Health) on 16th December and all of this stuff is gone over again . There is not much of a prospect of immediate agreement and even if or when agreed they have had a 3 year clause included so it could be at least end 2016-17 before introduction so @johanino you have got much longer than March 2014 EVEN at worst .

If this legislation is implemented in the UK will the authorities be opening every parcel from China ? Will they be demanding that ISPs block non EU websites that sell/publicise vaping stuff ? The weak link in the chain is nic base so need to start planning holidays to Switzerland to pick up in bulk, and share with friends.
