Chrissie ... I don't know if this is normal or not, but when I use my own smilies in quick reply, it is the html link that appears and not the actual smiley picture ... the picture only appears once I have posted (in the same way that an uploaded photo only appears once posted). When I use the AAEC smilies, the smiley picture appears immediately.

On the other hand, the AAE-C smilies are ones I've coded into the forums images.
