Just hearing on the news that the roof or upper balcony inside the Apollo theatre in Shaftsbury Ave London has collapsed on top of the audience in the middle of a performance. Is so hope there are no fatalities. Why do these dreadful things often happen so close to Christmas?

Strange as BBC News have a guy on the phone who was in the audience and he said it was the roof. All a bit unclear as yet but it only got reported half an hour ago. I so so hope no one is badly hurt.

Sky news have cameras there now. The reporter pointed out that the building next door has scaffolding all the way up. There is obviously been building work going on recently.
