OK. I decided to treat myself to a Nemesis clone and it arrived the other day. I've also fitted a Kick2, and a Kayfun 3.1 has also arrived (gawd help my credit card) With the Kick fitted should I worry about battery types - I'm using Efest IMR at the moment because that's all I have but I wondered whether I should consider protected batteries as a second line of defence. What are the risks of the Kick going kaput and does it fail safe ? Can I get more life (MaH) out of some protected batteries ? Would protected batteries fit my mod ? I need to mention that I will not be sub-ohming, 1.5ohm would be my minimum resistance.

AW IMR's are the recommended batteries for the Kick 2
Tis what I use for all mods as well.

I have the exact same setup and use AW IMR18490 button top batteries.. Easily get a day out of them.. However, after reading this I'm seriously considering getting some Efests!!
