Ohms change with use?

I've just got a MVP2 for xmas and having been playing about with it as you do!

Interestingly I've found that the 2 protank minis I've got filled up with 2.5ohm coils are actually 2.6 ohms.
Also as I use them the ohms go up to 2.9ohms, guessing as get hotter.

Using in wattage mode and compensates as gets more ohms I'm guessing?

On standard battery does this mean that longer vape, which increases ohms, could burn juice?

I think its more likely poor coil connections. the wire builds up surface oxidisation
the rubber in pre built coils softens so isn't holding them so firmly.
Yes setting power via Watts will compensate in use.
Burning is going to reduce as resistance rises, so not a problem when setting power in Volts.
Any burning is caused when the coil isn't getting juice fast enough for the power being applied.
So burning is an under wicking issue.

I'm with mark, seems likely a dodgy connection. If anything the coil resistance will reduce temporally when it's hot.

Interesting as definitely ohms rising with use.

Only get burning if overdo it and not with all juices so probably wicks, have tried protank with one wick removed which does work from memory but can lead to gurgling so don't bother now.
Not sure if coils in them came with them or from elsewhere as bought a few.

Iclear16s don't rise in ohms and stay at flat 2.1.

Not really a problem anyhow, was just curious.

In a perfect world it would be nice if either resistance went down or power
went up, when the juice warms up and gets thinner.
We may see a big leap forward in designs if the varying wicking speeds of juices
could be compensated for, by the regulated power devices.

I'm with above, either poor connections or a bad readout. +/-.1 is to be expected but no more really.

Some of my iclear16s have increased from 2.1 to 2.3 ohm over time, but have then stabilised. Don't seem to make any difference to the vape if using wattage mode.

Wattage defo seems the way to go! no more going up and down the volts between my 2.1ohm iclears and 2.5(or 2.9)ohm protank minis!
I carry 3-4 flavours about some protanks, some in iclear16s and swap frequently as I get bored so this is a GREAT improvement!!
