Super-Shiny, that looks like it will be a cracking build. I may have to do one myself. I am not familiar with the DNA20 or their charging board so I don't know if they have the correct charging capability for multi cell Li-po work. The correct charger will be rated for at least the number of cells in the battery. It has to have a separate channel to monitor the state of each cell during conditioning and charging. To give you an idea of the safety importance think non-matched stacked cells in a mech mod.... You can buy hard cased Li-Po batteries which are more robust but the charger still has to be right. Google is your friend on this one. I use an Efest LUC for all my mod batteries, great little box and you should be able to find it for a few quid cheaper. Single USB out but it works from the mains or batteries and you can charge 2 batts and an eGo at the same time.

Got the same charger raid2506 but did not realise/or forgotten that I could charge ego`s with it.

I've used loads of the same brand singles and doubles in mods and never had a problem. TBH they are all pretty crappy, cheap chinese 100 for £3 wholesale. You can always beef them up a bit with extra bridging wires and reinforce the connector mounts with epoxy. There are some good solid ones available from the states but so far I've only found series holders which you need to convert yourself. If you want a better one from the UK then get your wallet out... Thanks raid2506 perfect, i take it i use 20 AWG wire for both + & - wiring? Also i notice with them CustomDuo battery cases the wiring looks like it does not use solder too connect, are the wires crimped to it or something?

I use thin wire for small stuff and fat wire for big stuff If your wire is fat enough you can crush the tab and pinch it in there but you will always run the risk of galvanic corrosion. I would personally reach for the flux, solder and a nice fat wire. I just had another look at that pic and the Black wire is definitely soldered. Tin the wire, crimp it into the tab and then pile on the solder sounds like the way ahead.

Yeah that is what i was thinking the more i looked at the wiring, the only reason i mentioned 20 AWG is because in the Milo build she uses 20 AWG connected to the DNA20 and then the other end too the Batteries, most of the other wiring for the rest of it she is using 24 AWG Cheers Raid

If 20 AWG is optimal for the DNA20 then what is the benefit of changing to 24 AWG (a thinner wire with higher resistance) elsewhere in the circuit? The main considerations would be flexibility, space constraints and cost. As there is only 0.03 of a millimeter between them (core size) I don't see an advantage to cost or space saving. The flexibility of the wire will be very similar unless one is single core (solid) and the other multi-core (stranded). Although if that's the case then the stranded wire should be identified with 3 numbers, such as 24 7/32 (a 24 AWG wire made up of 7 strands of 32 AWG wire). If anybody out there knows any different please chime in.
