got a caravela clone from ft today and messing around with it taking it apart(my 1st mech) and managed to cross thread the locking switch with the top part of the button section. any one have any tips on how to separate them? its barely tightened.
was thinking of leaving on the radiator a few mins ...i dont have 2 pairs of pliers.

thanks edge....embarrassingly enough i dont have rubber gloves
did it though by screwing onto tube then using pliers, i was screwing in wrong direction too
