Yes, you would need to keep them very wet.
I think River uses them at 5V though, all the time.

No, you were right Blakey. LR atomisers and cartomisers are best suited to 3.7V-4.2V IMO.

Standard resistance cartomisers Wayne. Good flavour and less chance of them burning.

The HV one possibly, but not the lower resistance ones.
I think Blakey has tried them.

So would I be best to use Boge 510 standard cartomiser rather than any dual coil or LR? Im looking at loads of sites and going mad!! I want to order a 5v battery but dont know what cartomisers to get. Also will standard cartomisers give the same effect as dual coil on 5v? if so then I may as well just stay at 3.7 and dual coils? I prefer Boge at 5V to DC at 3.7V personally. I haven't tried DC at 5V, but River swears by them. I much prefer 5V Vaping to 3.7V for flavour and throat hit, but again, everyone will have their own opinions. There you go, you're just as badly off now as when I got here

The HV one possibly, but not the lower resistance ones. I think Blakey has tried them. Blakey has tried them, found that the normal ones couldn't wick fast enough at that v but the hv ones were a great improvement both in flavour and wicking speed. Try them, they're cheap enough. Boge standard cartos will provide an excellent vape at 5v. Experimenting is part of the fun
