Hi all I have my finger hovering over the "buy now" button on the Don but want to make sure I am doing the right thing? is it a good step up from an ego battery? is there anything else out there for roughly the same price thats better? Thanks

the Don is a great option m8 and is a great step up but also take a look at the silver bullet that packs a punch and is about the same in price

Thanks for the info, but its too late.....I just pushed the button on the Don Well push the button again and get the small batteries for the mini don and also the 5v batteries and charger to use with a standard attie. Great choice mate, the Don is a great mod and you're gonna love that bottom switch after initially hating it lol

Hope you got the stainless, if not, get a cape cod cloth, you'll need it!

Great choice Wayne!!! Plus with the possibilty of a VV add on for the Don, if it comes about, you'll have an even more versatile mod! I hardly ever clean my aluminium one Blue have too say, but then I'm a mucky booger.

Cleaning it is going to be a pleasure for me as I am a bit of a cleaning freak, especially shiney things.
The vv add on sounds interesting
Also do many people stack their batteries? I hear a lot of people say its not a good idea but I quite fancey trying 6v.

I've not tried it yet though as I've also read that it's not a good idea. Anyone using two batteries in a Don?

The Don is a great mod! Just make sure you get 3v cr123a's if you plan to stack (check they are not 3.7v), unless your getting specialist very high voltage atomisers. You'll still need high voltage/resistance atomisers with 2x 3v of course.

I'm not a stacker either. An 18650 with a Low Resistance anything is good enough for me on the Don.

6v and higher i always got the dreaded burnt taste, even though i tried a hv atty. 5 or just over is enough for me. I could'nt be bothered with all that 2 quick bursts.

Ah, but . . . it doesn't toddle out the packet and do the cleaning itself does it Blue. Tbh, other than brass parts on a mod, mine don't seem to get especially dirty . . . on the odd occasion I have a cleaning session it tends to be Brasso, Autosol or Autoglym I use - fantastic stuff!!
