Can anyone tell me why the above has a bridge in the glass part but, the Protank1 does not?
I know it's going to be something obvious to you lot but not to a simpleton like me. ???

Phoenix ., The bridge part is because the two ends are held together trapping the glass tube by the enter threaded tube. In the pro 1 the glass tube is bonded to the end caps holdingthem in place and cannot be dismantled. The bridge part also carried the bush then presses down onto the rubber atomiser seal. In the pro1 the centre tube attached to the top cap makes the seal. I think the key bit here you need to know is in pro1 the tube is glued, in the pro2 it can be disassembled. Hope this all makes sense to you.

... and what I have told you may be a load of rubbish as I have just looked at my Kanger pro 1 and Kanger pro 2 and both have bridges, pro1 having the center tube press fitted and not threaded. So for pro 1 I think you must be looking at a clone, which I also have and is as I described.

Have looked at the boxes I have, both are genuine Kangertech Protank 1 & 2 , both are rebuildable, 1 has a bridge the other does not, 1 has a removable drip tip the other does not, it's the one that does that has the bridge?

Not sure, but there have been various revisions, anyway if you look at the bridgeless one the glass tube ( might even be plastic) is not removable and is what holds the top and bottom parts together. The inner tube being suspended from the one piece top/mouthpiece.
