The vaping for couples programme

My partner is one of those unusual people who has smoked socially for ages without ever getting addicted. She can go for months without having a ciggie and doesn't crave them at all, but she can also get through 2 packets in a night if she feels like it. I, on the other hand, have a hugely addictive personality and neither of us thought that I'd ever go for more than a few hours without fags if I could help it.

But then I found vaping, gave up the fags and haven't gone back. She's really quite impressed and has been incredibly supportive - she even doesn't really mind it when I go on a bit of a splurge on new gear. These days, she's more of a social vaper than a social smoker, and really enjoys the dessert flavours (she's got a very sweet tooth!) But she's never been addicted to nicotine, so she isn't getting into vaping in a serious way - she just has a few puffs of something tasty when she feels like it.

Was at work today, and on returning from my vape break, spotted a couple of customers, probably late 30s, approaching the entrance with ecigs in hands. I quickened up and when just behind them, shouted 'snap'. They turned around, a little startled, but when I flashed my Spinner at them, they both laughed. They were husband and wife, and both had been on ecigs and off the fags for 18 months and hadn't touched a ciggie since.

Would have liked to have chatted longer, but I was already aware I was pushing my luck with the time I'd been out on my break (haha), but did scribble down the forum address for them. A couple in real harmony!

Everyone's different, I don't plan on quitting vaping. I have no problem with my nicotine habit it was the burning of tobacco that did me harm

Couldn't agree more! It's me who's the Vaper, not him!  Everyone's different, that's right, I just wish he could understand that  .  He just likes to whinge about anything!

My wife smokes as well, I'm the vaper in our household. I know your pain!

same as mine ! Swear he's related to victor meldtew ! Even had a photo of him as his avatar on carp fishing forum ! Plus side he daren't moan about my shopping addiction to all things vaping related or I might ask him how his fishing gear managed to ' breed' in the Alladins cave he calls the garage
