Hi guys Been ''trying'' to quit for over a year now, but not having much look, tried a few cartos/clearos and they all seem ok for a short while, but then end up leaking/gurgling (me ending up with a mouthful of rank tasting juice) and just getting fed up and going back to roll ups also had loads break/leak in my pocket when out (don't have anywhere else to put them but my side jean pockets really) not bought anything for a while so was wondering what are the best things out there at mo? cost is a big factor as well, spent enough and I am pretty skint. been using ego-t batteries which have been ok apart from 2 breaking in my pockets any advice to get off the evil weed much appreciated

a: depends on how much cigs you smoked general rule seen: 5-10 cigs 12mg 10 -15 cigs 18mg 20+ cigs 24/36mg Clearos prob with most of these are not pocket friendly as there push fit tanks, removing tip to fill clearos ends up with it not sealing properly after a while and rubber grommit need pulling up,after while wicks break down, maybe try a Evod these are around £4-5 a piece

yeah got the juice thing ok I think just the actual devices all seem pretty poor, evo-d was probably best so far or vision mini nova perhaps at least they leaked a bit less
Just wondering what people consider the best these days and best/cheapest place to get them really

To go on an ego battery you'll have to go a long way to beat an iclear16. Duel coil, washable, replaceable coil, leak and gurgle free and cheap as chips (when they're in stock!). The minor disadvantages are that they are quite thirsty beasts and give a warm vape so some ice cream type flavours can taste a bit odd.

Greeny1210Ego-T's are pretty crappy and are known leakers. Whilst I'm a "long term" vaper I don't go in for stuff that's difficult to use or costs loads. IMO I like the Mini & Regular Pro-tanks either 1 or 2 version. The mini will fit nicely on your existing batteries, go for the 1.8ohm or 2.2 ohm coil version for a fixed voltage battery. They are glass tanks (so no cracking problems) but are VERY robust, the only break if you drop them onto a hard floor. I often carry mine in my jeans pocket without problems. Whilst the initial outlay costs a bit (around £12 delivered) the running costs are low, I change the heads in the tanks around once a week and either buy the new heads at about £2 each or re-coil them at pennies to do. Also consider a Variable voltage device, I use a SID as I can use a 18350 battery if I want it nice and small or a 18650 battery if I want a long time between charges (I have 2 different sized battery tubes). A SID costs about £35 -5% from here www.ukecigcabin.com/product/smoktech-sid-vv-mod-batteryThen you'll need batteries and a charger. Or you could go for a Vamo (can be bought for around £25) if you don't mind the size but you'll still need batteries and a charger. These devices give more flexibility with your vaping and are cheap to run after your initial outlay and stand a much better chance in keeping you off of the "stinkies".

cheers guys, are these better than the vision ego v3 (I was using these mostly) vape isn't great and they have a tendancy to clog and leak etc
thanks for your reply Des, gone over my head most of it though lol..not difficult, I thought ego-t was just the battery and had nothing to do with leaking ?

I hated clearos with a passion when they first came out but the iClear16 changed my mind, I've never had a gurgle, leak or dry hit

Greeny1210Ego-T is a Standard Ego Battery with a "T atomiser/tank" I'll go by what's above you could try the Iclear 16's and/or mini protank - either a V1 or V2, the Iclear is a plastic tank the Protank is glass both would fit fine on a Ego battery.

Yes, +1 for iClear16 clearos. Plastic not glass, but work well and last a long time. I got two sets from Paradise Vape (http://www.paradisevapeuk.co.uk/product-p/tatevv.htm) for £30 each. Well, one set was a gift, actually
Anyway, you get a neat 800mAh battery, wall charger, USB lead and five iClear16 clearos. They also sell replacement coils in cheap packs of five. As pointed out, these clearos are thirsty and get through your juice fast, but you have a lot of vaping pleasure from them so it's worth it (especially if you mix your own juice, which makes it a lot cheaper).

If your getting the vape you want and battery life from bog standard batteries stick with them, you will know when to advance in your own time. As for The atty part, Evods are fine, Some folks have gurgling / leaking problems (most of the time, this can be a simple matter of poor wicking or condensation, dead easy to cure) Try here for a great price.: linkAny other questions just ask

I would estimate the survival rate for almost any ecig In a jeans pocket At about the same as regular cigarettes, ie no problem until you sit down.
