Just got my GGS and can't figure out how to release the button. There's a picture on the CV website that involves the use of pliars but I'm worried that I might cause some damage. I'm also not entirely sure which bits I'm supposed to try and move. Frustration doesn't even come close....lol Lynda

OK, all I've got so far is some info Imeo posted on the "What a great seller" thread.
1) Battery goes as you like, no problem 2) Button locks when you screw or unscrew the silver nut it has on the button's cap
And this from Rob(Vapor Kings) website : -
Button locks simply by turning the locking screw approximately 3-4 turns counterclockwise. To unlock, simply screw 3-4 turns clockwise.

Don't feel badly Lynne - I had to scratch my head and tut a lot before I figured out how to set up my GG - just try as Chrissie suggests - you shouldn't need to take pliers to it. I just screwed and unscrewed until I figured out how it works; it's really quite cleverly done in that one mechanism works in two ways. One to take the end piece off to insert the battery and the other to lock/unlock the button. You'll get there in the end. Fox

Foxy, I do think it would help if instructions where sent out with it. I do know though that the ones you have are from the new stock with the updated switch that Lisa only got a few days ago. So that may be why there are no printed instructions yet?

Have you emailed Lisa asking for help?
Or would you like me to start a thread asking for help on the GG sub forum of ECF?

I have emailed Lisa but probably wouldn't expect to hear from her before Monday. Maybe I could just drive to Hertfordshire and get a lesson from Foxy..... Seriously, I am probably being very stupid but would be very grateful if you would start a thread. I LOVE you Chrissie.... Lynda

Chrissie, I am up and running now... I am ashamed to say that I sent Imeo an email and he replied within minutes...(this was about 5 minutes ago!) I was so scared of doing some damage. I used a rubber glove to get a better grip and it worked like a treat.. What wonderful and personal service..and what a fabulous thing this is! Lynda
