thanks PM coming soon. i wouldnt wanna remove the pin though. so i put the o ring on then i put the pin and wire inside the sink is that right ? iam not thick honest lol will it still work with just a 2mm ID x 1mm C/S O ring and not the shrink ? The sides of the pin will short against the head if there is no insulation between them. If you are careful you can pull the pin out of the head about an inch, it will still be connected by a wire at the base. When you go this you can slip the heat-shrink over the pin and wire, then heat it with a hot air gun, or lighter, etc. Then stretch the O ring over the pin so it fits around the shaft and directly under the lip. When you are happy push it all back into the top cap, it'll be a tight fit.

You need about 10-12mm. I let the heat-shrink overlap the entire pin and down the wire a little. Once it's shrunk I trim it flush to the pin with a Stanley blade. I'm doing a couple tomorrow so I can take some pics if you want.
