Thanks so much for the replies. I smoked approx 20 L&Bs and still have some liquid/juice/vapor (not sure what its called) in the bottle but not much, is that too much over 6 days? Out of curiosity if you only smoke ecigs do you then call yourself a non smoker or are you still a smoker but not of cigarettes? Oh one more question how long roughly before I will need to change the cartomiser? Should I order some in ready or will it last ages? Sorry for all the questions. If it was a 10ml bottle, you've vaped 1.5ml a day. That's not a lot.... be happy Is it a cartridge atomiser or a clear tank atomiser?

[/quote] Oh in not sure it's clear and can be filled up to 1.6ml, it has a wick, didn't know there was any difference. I assume its clear tank. yes it's a 10ml bottle cost under £4 for the liquid

Sounds like a clearomiser to me
Depending on which one (possibly an iClear 16) can last a month or so before requiring a new head. (heating coil) which are fairly inexpensive to buy.

Well. ???
I kill CE4s for a living. 48 hours tops.
However, I got 6 months from an iClear16.
I'm sure we can beat £4 for 10ml of liquid without too much trouble. BUT, if you like it.. stick with it.

Clearomiser from sounds of it ce4? Yes just like that. I've just ordered a set of 3 for £11.99. I've seen some on eBay but not sure if they would fit.

Hi there and welcome to this friendly forum kerry501 I used to smoke L & B silver, around 25-30 a day, been was a smoker for 40 years!!! When I started to vape I used 18mg nicotine in my e-liquid and I found that to be sufficient for me. Luckily I didn't even feel the need to smoke any cigarettes from day one, but that's just me, others are different. I think what helped me the most was that I managed to get an L & B tobacco flavoured juice, so to me I found it no different to having a cigarette and thought I might as well use the e-cig instead of lighting up. I never even said 'this is my last fag', just opened up my mail, put the e-cig together, filled it and away I went After nearly 8 months of vaping I am now down to 13mg nicotine, but I did not start to reduce the nicotine until I had been vaping for 6 months, the first month I started reducing I went down to 16mg then the 2nd month I went down to 13mg, I shall stay on 13mg for a good 2-3 months before reducing down again. I think we all call ourselves vapers here, or is that spelt vapors or even vapours

Hi and welcome just checked the site and that's a ce4 clearo and ego battery not the best clearo and won't last long but any clearo with an ego fitting will work so iclear16 mini protank for example which are miles better and you just replace the coil (heating element) if you ordered ce4s from ebay they will fit but not just good service.

Hi all. I started using e cigs only 6 days ago and absolutely love it, i am currently still smoking 5 fags a day. Have a few questions tho if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. I ordered a ev8 ecig from evapour 8, it was recommended by a friend - 1st question my liquid has gone a darker colour Is this normal? 2nd I'm using 18mg tobacco and used to smoke lambert is that about the same strenght? 3 as I'm still having nicotine but not smoking cigarettes as much will it be easier to quit the nicotine as I plan on cutting down on the strengths over the next few months and hopefully quit my nicotine habit. Sorry if these are silly questions in very new to this. Hello Kerry501 and welcome to this friendly and very helpful group. I began with an Ego Kit which came with 2 batteries and a charger and CE4 tanks. It helped me stop the cigarettes until I was smoking 1 or 2 a day. Three months later and I'm a complete vaper with no cigarettes at all. Ecigs, eliquid, clearomizers and mods are hard to get your head around at first but do lots of research and ask lots of questions on here and you will soon be wanting to upgrade! I love my new hobby as I hope you will too

Hi & welcome to the forum, kerry501 & to the wonderful world of vaping! Yes, once you've stopped the cigs & you're vaping, then you'll be a non smoker. Don't worry about dropping the nicotine too quickly, the fact that cigs will be a thing of the past for you, means a whole lot more. You've now ordered some more 'clearos' which is great, as there's one rule you want to stick to, that is always make sure you have back ups. That's for all of it, spare battery(s), clearos, juice & charger. In fact, it's wise to have back ups for your back ups!!

Welcome kerry501 and well done of giving up the stinkies almost entirely. As others have already said, don't panic about reducing the nicotine yet, just get into the groove with the vaping first. I know there seems to be a lot of expense at the start, just when you want to notice the financial savings, but I would suggest getting some better atomisers for your juice as soon as you can. A Mini Protank will give you a much better vape and you have the advantage that when the atomiser head needs replacing you can pop a new one in costing £2.50 rather than having to buy a complete new device. The MPT is stainless steel and glass, so is much more durable and long-lasting too. You could pick one up for a little more than a day's cigarette money from here myepack.co.uk/clearomizers/mini-protank-2.html - this supplier is well-rated and has competitive prices. Have a look through our vendor's list which includes forum discount codes - buying from eBay isn't always advisable as retailers are not allowed to sell e-cigarette merchandise, hence the e-shisha names etc. Make sure you have enough juice - you can't just pop down the corner shop for some more like you could your L&Bs! Don't buy juice in large quantities until you are sure that you like it - nothing worse than a bargain 30ml bottle living in your cupboard that you don't like! Try www.joosejuice.co.uk for some great juices at a super price - £1.49 for 10ml - although there are many other retailers around too. Above all, please don't hesitate to ask questions - that's what we are here for!! Best of luck and vape on!
