Drippers I tend to direct inhale.
Nova's etc one good long draw, into the mouth first then inhale.
Evods/clearos a double draw then inhale.

TBH it depends also on what the flavour/strength/volts etc are.
Do whatever you feel comfortable with.

I smoked everything I could, fags, rollies, cigars, pipes, they all smoke differently and I find vaping the same.

Still have a few of my nice briars left and can't bring myself to mod them

Ex-cigar smoker here. I draw vapour into the mouth, then slowly out through my nose during the exhale. Much like cigar-smoking, really. I do draw it from mouth into lungs from time to time, especially after chain-vaping for a while when I want an extra hit. I never draw straight from the pv into the lungs. Personally I am not a big fan of throat-hit, probably as I started on cigars (and occasional pipe too).
I also find that it's rather fun to keep breathing air through my nose whilst drawing vapour into my mouth.

raid2506 I think you should keep the nicest of your briar pipes just as they are. I've kept a couple of mine, they even still smell nice!

As with a lot of things in vaping what works for one may not work for another so its down to personal preference. I tend to inhale and as I'm ex-haling through the nose take another long draw and exhale. My brother on the other hand takes a double draw then exhales.

As long as it works for you then thats all that matters.
