MVP in front jeans pocket, careful when you sit down. If you're really larging it, in your fist- a'la knuckleduster. Pepperty I lurrve the look of the VTR!!! Can I justify the cost as my big nights out kit of choice? ?? Tempted. ??? Justified as it only costs 4x50g of Golden Virginia, or 15(London) pints.

Oh 'its worth it' slimbopp!! factor in that you need a pair of 18650 batteries, unprotected >> so these on eBay 2 for £16 (unprotected type) and VTR probably from MyEPack (think thats the cheapest UK? seller) it comes with an iclear30s AND a free leather holster worth £15 If you're in no rush at all - its £46 on Fasttech but delivery is between 3-6 weeks......................

aha! I forgot to mention a charger, I bought the I2 Nitecore charger from MyEPack It seemed cheapest ( compared to other places ie Amazon) at £12 I didnt see it as 'yet more expense' as once I was sure that vaping worked for me I knew I'd be needing a charger for battery operated mods Whats in my mind is, as much as I love my itaste vv's they have a built in battery so one day they will just die as theres a shelf life on recharging ... so now I know I will definately have spares Sometimes I wonder if I have too much gear, but I dont! 2 itaste vv's (my going out gear) because they are vape through with mini usb, I can use in the car on my samsung (or kindle) cable plus I have a small power unit, so in emergency I can vape through using power bank (yes I do worry so I cover all eventualities) I cant do that with an ego/evod/spinner battery. I also have 2 of them! ... spares for spares But the VTR is my favourite vape, batteries last 2 days (using the 3400 even though it suggests 2600 max <its fine> ) The iclear30s delivers major flavour and I can tweek settings as its vv/vw from 6 to 15 It might be a big beast but its very nice to hold, if bloody heavy!

Totalling it up -- yes it was a £70 odd quid spend out, but if you already know that vaping is for you then I classed it as upgrading to decent gear. I still use everything else I have, so nothing is wasted. Its just backup and I use all my gear daily Just buy a pack of 5 replacement coils for the iclear30s from fasttech at under £6 for 5 as 'up to 6 weeks wait' isnt a problem as the coil it comes with will last longer than that and probably another iclear30s at £6

A good alternative to the VTR would be the Thoathit Twin. It's a variable voltage box mod that runs off two 18650 batteries - my one regularly lasts for 4 days on a single charge! It's hand made in the UK and the maker (Rob) will happily service if you ever have any problems with it. The other great thing about it is that it's practically indestructible, so the chances of needing a service are pretty low. It costs £100 including postage. A mains charger and the batteries are also included in the price. It ain't a 'pretty' mod, but I reckon that mine will last for years and it does everything that I want it to. A great example of 'function over fashion'!

Pepperty seniorphil Well you've gawn and bloomin dun it now aintcha!!! I hope you're proud of yourselves!!! All off Fast tech, £61.43 excluding the batteries. Thank you guys for all your help. I know what you mean Pep, it makes perfect sense when you put it like that. I guess I was initially in the smokers mind set and directly comparing costs of fags not smoked v price of kit. Silly boy. Now I need to get my lady off those 'orribile disposable jobbies.

The number of people I've talked to who went cig-a-like to ego to spinner to itaste vv to MVP. Cut out the middle man its the way forward. Good luck, you won't need it with your shiny new kit. Time to stalk the postman.

Jeeebus chris86! That looks like a mighty beast! How big/heavy is it? It's surprisingly light, but it definitely isn't small! Maybe about twice the size of a VTR? The other thing is that I would never take it into an airport, because it looks suspiciously like a detonator!

MVP2 and a deep shirt pocket. It's robust enough for a Mosh Pit if you have a button on your shirt pocket!!! A shirt - in a mosh pit? Whatever next..... A suit at a rave? i just put mine on the table in front of me if I'm able to use it in there or keep it in my coat pocket. In the summer I carry it in my hand. Yep, I quite often wear a Leather Kilt to gigs, no Sporran though!!
