Buying from China?

Hey,

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend,  its a bit wet and cold here in the UK but what can you do lol.

I wanted to ask if anyone buys or has bought vaping related gear from Chinese supply websites and what have your experiences been buying from them?

I noticed they have a lot of items at the cheap and in bulk,  I also know that a lot of stuff is probably fake but for things like clearomizers and dropper bottles they look pretty good to me.

I'm starting to convince a lot of my family and friends to ditch the smelly cigs and start vaping so it will be great if we can all chip in and get gear in bulk on the cheap.

I wanted to get some feedback from you guys before I make up my mind whether or not to place an order with any of them.

They also sell authentic gear mods and atties and coil heads at cheap prices, just check for the word authentic in the product name.

Delivery is free, but be prepared to wait anywhere from 2 weeks up to a month for delivery

amygx - many of us order regularly from FastTech; I have an order in at the moment, although whether it will ship before the Chinese New Year holiday shutdown is anyone's guess!
They are usually pretty good, and as long as you don't mind waiting, the prices are excellent.
The word 'authentic' means just that - I have a Protank and some 1.8ohm heads on the way, and they will be the genuine article. If you and your friends and family are up for it, this would be a great way to upgrade your gear without breaking the bank.
Batteries are a no-go at the moment, due to the parcels being checked at Customs at their end. It would be better to buy from the various reputable vendors in this country. Check 'Torchy' on eBay too for some of the best prices.
I have had both my Vamos, plus batteries (in the good old days!) and DCTs, cartomisers, clearomisers, and various other bits and bobs, and they have all been good items.

I have, like most people, bought loads from fasttech and other Chinese vendors and never had a problem with quality or delivery. As Carpe Vapor has said , be prepared to wait at least 3 weeks for delivery. If you are concerned about wanting only genuine articles stick with Health Cabin although they charge for postage whereas Fasttech postage is free.

I have bought plenty of stuff from fastech.

Good for:

Clearomisers - if you want kanger products make sure it says "genuine kanger"
Replacement coils/heads
Mechanical mods
Drip Tips
Accessories

Not Good for

Batteries - airlines dont want to carry them
Eliquid - airlines and couriers dont want to carry it and most of it is cheap + nasty anyway
Electronic Mods - not worth the wait and if something goes wrong with your new toy a nightmare to return
Anything you need in a hurry!

I've bought plenty from fasttech, never had any issues with them. Haven't had to return anything mind, that could be where issues arise. Not used the other ones you have listed.

Order, forget you've ordered, then get a pleasant surprise vapemail day sometime 2-6 weeks later.

Sorry I didn't realise the site had a section just for China stuff lol.

So it sounds like the place to shop would be fasttech seen as most of you appear to shop there. The long wait is the downside but I guess if you order in advance for things like replacement coils then they should arrive by the time you need them.

For these bulk buying sites which would you say would be better, buying a few and repeat the order every so often or just go nuts and buy enough to last months/the year? ???

Once I know what I'm going to need I can compare prices and see how much it will save in the long run.

Buy a few to make sure you are happy with the quality first.

Fasttech are sending batteries again via Malaysia Post, god knows how long they'll take though. I order for myself and friends from fastech. You get a discount for buying 5 or more and another for 10 or more. Discounts vary from item to item but it is worth keeping an eye out for. In a order I am waiting on the dicount worked out at 30%. They went through a bad patch Oct/Nov, but seem to be getting back to normal. As said before don't order anything urgent and they'll completely shut down for the Chinese new year.
Great fun to be had looking through the 1000s of pages of junk.

Just wanted to add focalecig.com/ to the list, I have bought from FastTech, Chinabuye and FocalEcig, there isn't a massive choice yet on the Focalecig site but Foclecig works for them and is an active member on here and I like the fact that I could go to her directly if there is any problem.
