HELP....with kanthal on wicking

I've not built that many coils but 4 wraps of 0.32 would certainly be sub-ohm.

I've done 4 wraps of 0.30 and that came out around 0.9 ohms



I think you've got 0.2mm kanthal (Or 32AWG)

So I borrowed a multimeter and tested ohms.

Meters own value= .6
Atomiser = 2.7
Equals. 2.1 ohms

Does that sound about right?

That seems impossibly high to me bunglebear  ...  I wrap microcoils with 0.30 Kanthal around a 2mm drill bit and 10 wraps gives me around 1.6 ohms.

Are you sure it is 0.32 kanthal and not 32 AWG? 32 AWG is 0.2 Kanthal

Vape on Mr Bear we've all fought with a coil before and if that's your first build then the future is looking bright.

You've a good looking coil and won't be blowing your face off (Although I would recommend trying to get that resistance down a bit with your next build)
