Emetal and a pyrex tank. Though 42 notes, still a lot cheaper than what I paid for the real thing. Is it any good?
Any idea where to get the pyrex glass tank from?

The pyrex tank is $h1t mate ... not airtight ... I have ordered the full SS tank from C9V I fixed my pyrex tank problem with a touch of waterproof silicon sealant around the top and bottom of the glass and it has made it airtight ... several tankfuls through it and no loss of vacuum or leaks. Other than the crappy pyrex tank sealing issue, everything else is spot on and it gives a terrific vape with a micro coil and cotton set up and refilling is the dead simple evod fashion.

There seems to be 2 types of squape clone.
Is it the one with red o-rings and 2 drip tips or the other one?
Does it come with spare o-rings, etc.

Don't get me wrong, the pyrex inner tank is not rattling around inside the steel outer but it can be moved a little more easily than the PMMA of the original ... just enough slack to loose the vacuum when the juice level drops below half way and thus cause leaking. The full SS tank will do away with the windows/inner tank interface and will be guaranteed airtight.

I'm not sure if the problem with the clone is the pyrex tank itself or the O rings but the full SS tank should solve the problem whatever the cause.

I've only used the Stainless because I was using a citrus when I first used it. I haven't used it enough to be honest. First time I put a coil and wick in I got a mouthful because the coils weren't right up to the edge of the slots LOL. (and they say its fool proof!!) The second time was fine. There is an interesting thread on C9V forum about the squape. Someone in there changed the plastic to pyrex successfully and mentions some German youtube video. www.c9v-forum.com/stock-updates-discounts-contests/the-squape-atomiser-by-stattqualm/30/As you know, not cheap but deffo a keeper as they say.

Thanks for that mate .... had a look and the replacement pyrex tank that SKP574 got from Germany (page 5) is totally different from the clone pyrex tank in that the clone pyrex is totally smooth and doesn't have the ridge around the middle so perhaps the PMMA tank would be a better option in the clone.
