Hi all having problem with my new Iclear 30b, its been fine the last few days been getting plenty of vapour and pleasant airy draw. earlier I took it all apart rinsed it under the tapped and thoroughly dryed it and refilled with a new juice, was working fine for about an hour then the draw became uncomfortably tight, it was still producing vapour but was also gurgling.
I took it apart again and rinsed the coil under the tap, dryed and replaced but no difference
i know it just needs a new head but I wouldnt have thought it could blow 1 in a few days?
cheers in advance steve

Have you blown one of the coils Steve (VapeStorm)? Could happen . . . that's what it sounds like to me. So no amount of washing now is going to make any difference. I'm not a fan of all this cleaning malarky either. Creates more problems on occasions . . . .

Could well have done Perps, Ive got some spare heads coming for it, just puzzles me why the draw would change just like that because 1 coil went? think itll be the last time i do wash a coil, only did so i didnt taint my next liquid lol

I live with the taint for the short time it takes to vape through. If it aint broken, I don't try to fix it - with anything.

Lesson learnt Heads are cheap enough to replace just a good job they're not built in, back on ce4s till the mod arrives in the morning with some nice iclear30bs just need to figure out all this variable voltage and wattage milarky

You may have have blown one of the coils with pushing too much power through it Steven and the washing as just finished the job off, start low and work up tends to be the best bet. Plus different liquid is best at different settings I find. It's the morning now anyway, so not long to wait.

Steve (VapeStorm) did you let your 30b dry before you tried it? I leave mine near a radiator overnight to dry then "Dry Burn" my coils (Youtube it) pulse, dont let the coils burn out though!!

I dried the parts of the tank, then blew through the head to get water out and dried in a towel, repeated till wicks felt dry

Did a bit of dry burning only quick pulses but didnt do too much because I didnt want to blow it

Dry burning is an art, well it is on some things, too much and you can pop the coil, spheroid you can press it till you finger hurts, I do put a new coil in every 2 or 3 weeks though, whether it needs it or not lol

Just done a really good dry burn, both coils are intact, checked resistance and it came out ar 2.1 like it should. refilled with juice and tried. Hasnt made any difference

I know this is a pain, and I don't have an iClear 30b, but it might be worth popping the juice back into the bottle, disassembling the whole thing, and check that the 'O' rings are properly seated, and everything screws together. Also, make sure that you haven't screwed it back onto your battery/mod too tight, this may restrict the airflow. I'll check again in the morning to see how you get on, or if someone else has come up with a more sensible idea!

Thanks for the ideas andy ive tried taking it apart checked it all over its not screwed on to tight. im now finding that drawing on it creates a vacuum in the tank which is released when I unscrew the tank from the base a quarter turn im wondering if the wicks are gunked up or they are blocking air flow another way

With 30b you will find that there are two holes in the threads and two holes in the coil. Make sure they are lined up.
