OK. You have CE clearomisers with the kit. Top them up regularly and don't let them get too low. (Half way is good, but you might get 3/4) I killed mine by vaping too fast, not topping up and not swilling the liquid around. Try to NOT do that. Killed them? How? How do you know when it is time to bin the clearo? Is it worth buying those where you just replace the coil(?) etc? Killed them, as in burnt wick. IF you can avoid it, you can get days, maybe weeks. I only use the type with replaceable heads now. £1.20 for a head (£6 for five). Cheaper than a complete one. You'll know if you've done it. Horrible burnt/dry taste. I get a week from Kanger heads (T3S, evod, mini Protank) and sometimes as much as a month on Innokin iClear16/30.

Hello & welcome tonyp It certainly is worth getting the clearos with replaceable heads My favourite is the Innoken iClear 16 as I like the draw on them.

Thanks for the tips. I have some more clearos on order plus a load of new flavours both Grizwald, other VE and Mrs Lord. This leads me to another question: how many people end up buying the bits and mixing their own? Do people tend to mix between pre made and home mixed? I ask as this has the possibility of becoming more expensive than smoking :-). (Especially as I feel like a kid in a sweet shop, wanting to try so many flavours whilst also searching for my 'old faithful' flavours which I would always need yo keep a stash of!)

I use both shop bought and a little homemade.
I certainly spent more on vaping than roll-ups last year. However, my health is more important and this year I expect to NOT buy so many pieces of hardware.

tonyp - hi and a warm welcome from me too! There is a certain amount of expense involved in sett yourself up with the right gear, but if you can avoid 'shinyitis', the incurable condition where you just have to have at least one piece of vapemail on it's way at any one time, the cost can really plummet over time. I recoil my own Protank heads, which costs me about 50p each time, although even that has dramatically lowered as I now use microcoils which last for months, needing only a small piece of cotton wool for wicking! I also mix my own juice which works out at about £1 per 10ml at 10mg strength, so my spend for the month is only about a fiver. Of course there are new products arriving all the time at the moment, but despite an order for £40 from Fasttech (a Chinese supplier) on its way, I really have pared things down to the bone. Please keep asking questions, we were all at your stage once, and know how useful it is to have someone a post away to answer that niggling query! Best of luck, I reckon you will be off those rollies pretty soon!

On the Rollie front: none since the 2 before my kit arrived yesterday - but 1.6ml of VE Virginia, and the same of VE Lemon Twist and Grizwald's Whiskey Cream!

tonyp - that's not excessive consumption - I get through about 4-5ml of juice a day, a little less if I'm working, as I only vape as I drive between schools, so that cuts things down a lot. As I'm sure you have read here elsewhere, just think of the stinkies you haven't smoked, and don't beat yourself up about the odd fagg here and there, it's still making a major difference to your health already after a day I have smoked 3 cigarettes in the last 16 months, and haven't enjoyed any of them.
