Hi all. 

Im waiting for for my new Vape Escape deluxe set (1100)with a few liquids to come through the post. I've recently been using the Smoko e cig with a variety of their pre filled cartomisers, but even with a forces discount, they are rather pricey. (£14 for 5 with a 25% discount. Still cheaper than £18 pouch of tobacco every few days though). I was also getting weary with the battery running out quite quickly. That being said, the Smoko has helped me to reduce to under 10 Rollie's a day. Hopefully I can further reduce this to the extent of quitting them altogether. 

Any my hints and tips as I move onto the Riva would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to AAEC.

The Riva kit is good as a starter kit and was the kit that got me off the stinkies. Still took another 3 weeks to find the right juice at the right mg level for me.

The main piece of advice I can give you is don't put any pressure on yourself to quite smoking, count the ones you don't have. It will all come together and you will wonder why you didn't try vaping months ago.

Moving to the Riva is a good move. I think that getting off the rollies depends mostly on finding the right juice. For me it was this one, although I moved on to coffee flavour after a few weeks.

I started my vaping journey with skycigs and they help me cut my cig usage considerably, but they weren't enough for me to quit. Since getting an ego starter kit, I haven't looked back.

Best tip is to drink lots of water, vaping can dehydrate you. Other than that, enjoy it!

Well done, great start. I managed to leave the rollies behind with a similar battery to you. Keep your nic strength as high as you need to kill any cravings, as it is pretty easy to cut it down later.

there will come a point in time when you just decide that you don't want to bother with tobacco anymore - as said already don't put pressure on you - it comes naturally - I know it from myself - as mine was about 40 hours ago

I use at the moment 18mg strength - with the plan of gradually reducing the nicotine - but also here no pressure.

It's arrived - the day after ordering! So far I've tried the Virginia and Lemon Twist! I have a feeling I'm going to prefer non tobacco flavours!
I got all flavour samples in 24mg nicotine ( except the Grizwald Whisky Cream) so, now time to Vape away :-).

Welcome yes you will turn away from tobacco ,like few here when first started anything else but tobac flavour seemed wrong,yes becomes a learning curve have enjoyed few enjoyable ones,if you still hit craving suggest get 1 bottle of 36mg for emergencies,similar to you was hammering 1/2oz a day,as for the cartos if you want to still use them as a back up ,you can refill them!
