its a hard learning curve in the beggining i personally spent around £800 in the first few months buying and trying everything available but once i settled in to what i know was best for me ive saved £££s. the big problem is human curiosity to try "the latest in thing" when 99% of the time what you have is just as good, the secret is to learn how to use what youve got or listen to good advice from the off instead of just buying anything. i must admit this year has moved so fast in e-cig world with so many new devices and paraphanalia being brought over to entice the most hardended of savers.

I like that post Mark as you are so very rite in everything you said.Ive settled down now and realise its daft throwing money at every new thing thats released.I totally agree that the best thing to do is let others try things out and await the reviews. My days of jumping in early are over, half the stuff thats released has a downside so its far better to await some positive reviews before jumping on a new product.

I've kept my expenditure to a minimum, I have a Riva with 3 batteries which I rotate and i've settled on Bud atomisers (£10 a month) for the moment (even though the Kanga's have piqued my interest ) James @ Paradise vapes does a pretty good "specials" deal on pre mixed juice @ £15-00 for 60 mls thats about 3 weeks vaping, though I've also dabbled in mixing my own. I set myself a budget of £40 a month to spend on e-cigs and try to stick to that. last month I bought a 2nd hand E-Power for £20 which I use at home keeping the Riva for going out as with 650 batteries it's much smaller. That's how I keep my costs down.

Fair play to you Des,best way to vape is to settle on a setup that works for you and not be tempted by anything else.I still treat myself every now and then but with the money ive spent on vaping i need to start using what i have and think myself lucky.

I've certainly saved money in 18 months of vaping Des, not as much as I should have really, but that's down to me buying mods and getting in enough 'stocks' to kit out a small shop. But even with all the gear I've accumulated, it still doesn't balance out to the £70 a week, which I was spending on cigarettes. . . plus there's the fun and social side that vaping brings, which I can't put a price on. Into year 2, I don't buy all and absolutely everything now.

Well i used to have a separate bank account just for my fag money lol so since i gave up completly on the fags i haven't touched the money and now have nearly £400 pounds in there ,

My ciggies were 32 euros for 200, and 200 would last me a week, so thats 128 euros a month (£115 ish). Using my Riva now for nearly 2 months, so thast nto a huge saving. But ..... If I work it out at UK tax paid prices, that would be about £68 a week, so £272 a month Now I feel liek I've saved loads

What saving would that be then ??? I briefly resumed smoking after almost 7 years of quitting. The six weeks resumption probably cost circa £400. The whole new shopping experience enjoyed since becoming a vaper, a lifetime ago in December, includes outlay for DSE901 Deluxe kit, LF own brand PT, GDPT, Boge Revolution 2, Arry tank, GGTB, SS GGTS, Iatty, eGo T, and Babymod plus atty adaptors, batteries and multi-charger. Further outlay on replacement batts and atties, SCs, DCs, and TCs, juices, flavours and accessories. I've saved my lungs but not my dosh
