Hi all, thought I,d ask this here rather than newbie thread,, search engine advised asking as nothing seems to be written on my problem, have left a message for Ash at my pack to call me back regarding it. Firstly, I can only get the numbers for the various functions to alight twice at most, I can never get the third and fourth digits at all it just goes off and will repeat the same thing. So I basically cannot read these measurements, one being the battery charge. Seocondly. as the main button on the I taste mvp2.00 had started to change to yellow I decided to give it a mainscharge as I also have the two 1300 spinners to use and I have certainly been caning the lovely pale blue beauty a bit since it arrived, as you do. well the light on the charger just went straight onto green and that,s not right and on trying to charge through the USB adaptor that comes with it, again through the mains charger, just goes straight to green, anyone reckon I could have faulty light/unit, I just don't,t do numbers too well I,m afraid never have done, having said that I have checked and treble checked I am reading the instructions correctly, there,s not much there for even me to get confused about ! Thanks.

Hello martintheveg - I'm not sure what you mean about the display only showing twice - can you elaborate? With the second issue, this is not a fault. The light comes on when it's charging. When the green light hoes off, the unit is fully charged. Just because it's showing green doesn't mean it's fully charged!

Here is what is supposed to happen: Press and let go of P or U button it will show the puff counter then go off. Press and hold P button it will show puff counter and then go into VW mode - every successive press of the P button will increase the wattage till it gets to 11 then it will go back to 6 It only goes up not down. Similar with the U button (I've never bothered much with this) Press both buttons and hold or let go it will show the resistance of the atomiser and then the power left in the battery then it will go off.
When you charge it should flash red yellow green green green and then stay solid green until charged when the green light will go out - it doesn't matter how low the battery is it will always glow green when charging

Thanks for that Ionian, seems a bit back to front to me, having the light go straight onto green! on the instructions it states VARIABLE WATTAGE MODE, press the p button for 3seconds to get into vwm. the screen will show you the puff counter first followed by the last adjustment. after showing the last adjustment it will enter vwm. well I do not get this third reading. same with the p and u buttons pressed together for the ohms reading, I get the ohms and I get the what must be the battery indicator then ! I assumed this was my voltage, it doesn't,t seem to go down much, always seems to be on 3.9 and it says U first , which is the same as the variable voyage mode, very confusing as I,m not very digital either. Why for example, can,t I get in ohms mode, the third reading "number of puffs"............ and the fourth reading, "last set voltage or wattage reading " ? thanks

Hi,boyofford, no it happens in all instances, I could tolerate it if it was only when charging, still have not heard back from Ash at my pack re. this. I think I,be got dodgy buttons, when clicking twice for ohms reading the bottom button ( u ) has to give a very quick double click to work as if something is not right underneath, still works though so I am not bothered about it, just could be a pointer to something else.

Hold the button down on the second press, then press again to change the wattage or voltage

Maybe is duff then. I check ohms of coil by just holding button I think? No double press.

When I state "double press" I mean holding the two buttons down together, not two separate presses, I probably explained that a bit it unclearly, sorry.
