My day in york

Just got back from a day out in york, took the svd in 18650 mode and an aerotank of red astaire.
In the 6 hours wandering round the busy shopping streets, I did not see one person vaping! Not even a cigalike.
there were 2 stalls on the market selling blister pack ego's next to the bongs and other drug paraphernalia at extortionate prices. 
 Walking round the city vaping I was recipient to lot of funny looks and tuts of disgust.
One lady at the bus stop actually moved away from my vaping and went and stood next to a gent puffing away on his cancer stick, even though I was being considerate by turning down the svd so I wasnt blowing cloudsand moving away slightly
very disapointed in the attitude towards vapers in a city like york.

seems smoking is more acceptable

The reason for the problem is in your post. For people who don't know any better they see e cigs being sold on the same stalls as bongs etc and make the assumption you are doing something illegal. Thankfully more and more people are aware of vaping now and it seems to be better accepted in my experience.

I try not to go into York full of tourists ....but where I work in a care home since I started 3 months ago 5 other people have started with ecigs not the lookalikes.....350mah batt and a evod clone tried 2 get them onto good vendors wrote this forums web site, but their choice, the kits they r using cost them £25.00 plus a bit of juice......also I can vape in the staff room

I go to York every month or so and I have seen lots of people vaping now than say 12 months ago, 2 years ago I felt like I was the only one in York vaping, there's a chap who runs an off license who also has plenty of vaping gear and juices, the shop is called Gluggles, so next time your in York pop in. I haven't noticed people giving me strange looks but have had a few come up to me and ask about it.

steve it's different in Leeds - there are many vapers I work very close to park square and see a lot of them - also to and from the station

It's still pretty much the same in aberdeen despite the market stall. I vape outside the music hall on a monday. Lots of black looks. Doesn't help the paranoia at all.

However, loads of vapers in Edinburgh. I always say hello to a vaper when I see one. I'm that surprised. Lots of vapers down leith walk where the lovely folks at vapers emporium are

That's a shame York. I'm in London and you would think I'd see loads of vapers every day but I don't in central London (the city) I see loads of vapers but they mainly have ego's. In south London where I'm in I see maybe 1 or 2 vapers a day that's it
