sorry if there is already a thread - but my search function does not work - it says can't connect to searching?
anyhow - which ultrasonic cleaner would you recommend ? I have seen on amazon some for about £25 - are they any good ?

Just make sure it's not a cheap battery one. I have a James 6050 got it cheap on ebay a while ago and it's great

Just hot water and coils tanks bottles I usually do 2 x 480 seconds. That's the longest setting on mine think it's pretty standard

Hot water from the tap with a couple of drops of fairy liquid on 2 x 480 cycles. When finished rinse all parts under the tap.

just used it the first time - glasses - perfect - protank - perfect - only the wick in the coil did not survive - never mind it needed a new coil anyhow

I would agree with fagin and just be patient. It seems that nobody can agree on whether or not it speeds up steeping so I would say on balance it doesn't work. If it did there would be clear agreement about it instead of some saying yes and some saying no. Same goes for microwave method. Didn't make any difference really when I tried it and also nicotine doesn't like heat so counterproductive in the end. ultrasonic for cleaning patience for steeping |
