River, around here, this is a van, your place would be called a summer home or cottage. When you said that you were in your van, this is what I thought you meant.

That looks more like a small motor home to me Jerry! I wouldn't call your pic. a van either River. It's a called a mobile home where I come from, or some people would call it a static caravan. Whatever it's called, it's great, I'd love to have one. We had a touring caravan for years but had to sell it as a new neighbour (Victor Meldrew mark 2) moaned about it to the council for us keeping it in our parking space in the cul-de-sac we live in. Said it was 'blocking his light'. I didn't know that anyone owned daylight. > What site is it on River? The last holiday we had was in one similar, but not as posh. That was in Selsey, Sussex. It belonged to a sister of a friend and she let us stay there for nothing. I bought her a huge bouquet and some choccies to say thank you. She's sold it now, so we can't go there any more. She said the annual fees (ground rent?) for keeping it there were too expensive for her for the coming year, as they'd gone up and she'd been told it wasn't good enough for health and safety reasons, so had to be upgraded.
