Grandad - welcome to the forum!
I would be tempted to shop around and see if you can find some tester bottles (10ml) of various juices with different ratios of PG/VG so you can get an idea of what's around. www.joosejuice.co.uk is a good starting place but be aware that their juices are made to order and need a couple of weeks of steeping to get the best flavour from them.
You might find that flavours that you think are not for you will grow on you easily over time, and your tastebuds will definitely change in the next few weeks (assuming that you have recently given up tobacco). Try a fruit flavour and a menthol (even if you hated smoking menthol cigarettes). RY4 is a tobacco and caramel mixture, but almost every brand of RY4 is different, so again try a few different ones.
Have a look through this list of vendors which will give you a better idea of who is selling online and give good service and prices - don't forget to use the discount code too!

one quick question please i do have a 2.5 ohm coil in it at the moment but bought a couple of 1.8ohm coils as spare would it be better to fit a 1.8 coil that would give me longer battery life to wouldnt it ? Or are the 2.5 coils better to use ?

1.8s would mean using a lower voltage so yes in theory battery life would be increased but not by much.
im not an expert on electronics but im sure someone else will be along shortly and tell me off if im wrong

I'd say your wrong   Particularly in this instance, as he'd not be wanting to reduce the voltage, as he wants more vapour, therefore battery life would be reduced.
Swing and roundabouts.

What I will ask Grandad is are you taking a really long slow draw? Let the device do the work for you! Its just you said your sucking like a train, or something - long slow draw is the key.
Best thing you can do n my opinion, would be have a good read of supershineys microcoil guide!

Hi teethcv not tried another yet mate washed it all out last night going have a pop tonight again something diffrent. Im a young grandad couldnt think of a name and was talking to my granson so GRANDAD it was lol. Been having a little read up on mixing my own liquids lot more to this vaping than i realised but loving it :-)

there is alot of good makes out there if you didnt want to try your want to try and make your own yet but it is easy to make your own just one thing stay away from mister smoke not to good

evods, RGM thingy, vivi nova, calabash bottom coil, MT3s.
i use mainly bottom coil clearos, preferring the RGM to anything else

Yeh I'm using a mini protank with a 2.2ohm coil will crank my spinner up tonight and give it a try, didn't vape at all last night give me the arse so left alone

i was scared to go beyond 3.something when i first got mine. but i find 4.3 or just above gives me a nice taste of flavour. all my coils are 2.2 or 2.4

I sat here all last night cleaned out my protank again and again trying my diffrent liquids out just couldnt get the taste right on any of them, Got up this morning and rolled a ciggie GRRRRRR not what i wanted the misses wasnt to impressed either after just spending £££££ on a new set up opppps lol. Will try again tonight
