First ever mixing order , bit of advice first

Hi there , been vaping about a month now and really started getting into it and stopped smoking fags. I wanted to have a go at making my own juice and just wanted to know that I was right in what I need to do and order before I go ahead.

Is this what I will need ?
100 ml of diamond crystal 54mg pg nicotine base from LTecigs
Vegetable Glycerin from boots
Propylene Glycol
Flavouring from LTecigs and cup cake world
Bottles and syringes etc

Does this seem all right ? Is LTecigs the cheapest/most reliable place for the nicotine base?

Now say the pg nicotine base contains 94% pg and I want to make Some amaretto 10ml  flavoured juice at 18mg strength I'd use 3.3ml nicotine , 0.8ml pg , 4.8ml vg and 1ml flavouring this would give a 50/50 ratio?? is this correct or have I totally misunderstood something?

For NicBase, Vapours Emporium offer great prices and good nic, tis also 72mg so goes a little further. I have used LTEcigs nic base in the past with no complaints either.

Flavourings can be got from many places, personally I use Chefs Vapour now as they stock a huge range of the most commonly used concentrates. CCW are good because you get 28ml instead of 10ml for around the same price.

Syringes, I get from LTEcigs

Maybe throw in a couple of 25ml measuring cups (only 12p each) from LTEcigs - Easier for measuring gloopy VG than a syringe.

PG and VG I get off ebay www.ebay.co.uk/sch/lubrisolve/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= I guess boots is cheap too

Regarding your Recipe for Amaretto - Have a play with the Mix Calc at the top of the forum.

Generally, Nic Base is treated as being 100% PG or VG depending on which you buy.

thanks for the replys , couple more things if the nicotine is classed as 100% pg does that mean I don't need to add add PG to the mix cause thats the part of mixing that is confusing me?

And I really like the idea of cherry menthol flavour , do you just mix some crystals and vg mix and store it untill you need a bit and just add a couple of drops to the mix ??

It'll depend on the ratio of PG/VG that you want in your finished juice. You may need to add a bit more PG if you want a fairly high %age of PG, or adjust the ratio a couple of %age points if you want more VG.

Best thing is to mix your own Menthol flavour by mixing a load of crystals with some PG and then using a few drops of this when it comes to mixing. 2% of strong Menthol will make quite a difference and doesn't really affect the percentages much so you could add a bit more afterwards if you like to blow the top of your head off without affecting the strength of your juice.

no, you need to dilute your pg based nicotine with some more pg. Depending on your required end mix, as you will be also adding pg based flavour concentrates and vg. Thats where the onsite calculator comes in, it does all the work for you
