Fasttech Question

Hi so I'm about to do an order on Fasttech. I have few question first if you'll help me out. 1st question is that I've read on here I should do orders no higher than 30pound? Is this true? And why? Should I do separate orders if I want to order few things? And 2nd question is are the batteries they sell any good or cheap knock offs? And o should order from the UK for batteries?

Not sure about the £30 thing, but I have bought genuine Panasonic batteries from them that are still going strong. They usually state whether they are genuine or not so make sure you buy the right ones.

Yes, that's about right, but as they have recently had their new year holidays, it might be a bit longer. The thing to remember with FastTechorders is not to buy anything you are in a hurry for. Just accept it comes when it comes.

Customs should start at £30 but I think fasttech and a few US sites put a lower value on the customs declaration so usually it's ok

I wouldn't worry about the customs thing. I can't recall reading anyone has had problems and I have certainly done several orders over £30 with no issues.

If your ordering a few things splitting can be a good idea. If something is out of stock it will delay your total order, but if you split it they will dispatch it as it comes. Also you get lots of vapemail instead of just one package and that is always a good thing

i ordered the xbox controller and battery pack from FT but its for the PS3 or something. doesnt fit anyway

Fasttech write $0.64 on all my packages, whether there's £10 or £110 (worth) in the packet.

One day it'll all go horribly wrong.

babs Customs charges can be charged for anything over £15 in value see here :- www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/post/buying.htm

That said, FT put a low value on the Customs declaration and unless you order over £100 worth I think you'd be unlucky to get caught.
