brass nemesis clone nemesis ss clone and 69 clone (got two nemesis to mix and match them up) and 69 so i can work out what kind of button/switch i like

Nice. Both are supposd to be really good. Safer vapers have reviews of all of them on youtube.

yeah thats why i decided to go for them haha also orderd the magnets and a cape cod cloth to get the brass sparkling

Great thread geordie_vaper - I have a Caravela clone on order (!) from Fasttech but it's not due in stock until the 25th of this month, and as it's already bought and paid for I might have to try a Nemesis too while I'm waiting.
All the information in this thread is perfect for me too, and you are asking the same questions as I have been forming in my mind, so hopefully I shouldn't need to ask them again!!

The lower the resistance the more you notice the drop, this is slight but you will always notice when it gets low. I always have 6 mg and 20 mg of the same flavour and if the drop is bothering me and I can't change the battery I just add a squirt of the higher Nic liquid to offset the effect.

I would go for a battery that is capable of providing twice to three times the ampage you need now as I can tell the small difference between a 30 A battery and a 10 A battery at 0.8 ohm coil and the 10 A is rated down to 0.42 ohm, plus they would probably perform longer (b4 wearing out that is). The quality of the battery will be more important to your vape than the quality of your mech mod (unless you get a really bad one, the ones gv has on order are all good).

Don't forget to get some Brasso, Isopropyl alcohol (Meths if you can't is better than nothing) and Vaseline for brass and copper bits inside the switch to inhibit oxidisation/tarnishing.

how would you clean the switch? just take it to bits use the products you said on the brass parts and out the switch back together?
