took the pluge just orderd a clone mech mod from ft after reading up on it for a wile, i have been setting my vv/vw device at 4.1v for bout 20 mins then take it down to 3.5v to create similar thing to a battery draining in a mech mod, and to me i cant really notice a change in vapor production or taste or nothing really, when i use the mech am going to check battery after 45 mins the 30 then 15, but question in time will i notice the drop off, what have other users found wheb they started with mech mods thanks

I notice the drop, but I'm still unsure if its the drop from 4.2v to the 3.6v continuous or my batteries actually heading towards flat, not got anyway to test at the moment so air on the side of caution/taste. My coils are generally 0.7ohm dual coil so at 3.6v = 18.5 watts & 4.2v = 25.2 watts
which seems like a big drop on paper anyhow.

I usually vape with a 1.2ohm/1.3ohm coil & swap out my batteries at around 3.6v.
You'll know when it's time to change as the flavour & vapour production drops off, it's not an exact science it's down to your own taste & building a coil to suit.

For the first couple of days I checked mine just so I could get an idea how long the battery will last in a mech. You will notice the drop off when it gets down around 3.6 to 3.5. Mostly my coils are around 1 ohm and my genesis is 1.5 ohm and it's easy to tell with both. You won't get the same with a vv vw device because they have electronics inside to keep your vape the same till you hit low voltage. From my experience battery life is much longer in a mech anyway

It's noticeable enough that even if you aren't paying attention to how long the battery has been in the mod you'll notice your vape is getting poor. In mine that happens at 3.6 volts pretty much every time.

AW or Efest are fine for the resistance you are talking about. If you do want to get into the low resistance stuff you will need a battery that can deal with a higher amp draw. Efest and Samsung sell 30 amp batteries, Sony have a 20 amp I think. This is NOT the same battery as the regular efest 18650 - the high amp one is purple.

Yes should be fine. Efest 18650 2000mah v2 are fine for 10 amps and at 1.3 ohm resistance you are only at just over 3.2 amps. The efest 18350 800mah is good for 5.7 amp so you will be ok with either. Personally I wouldn't use them above about 75% of their amp limit but for the resistances you are talking about they are fine
