Anyone tried this: I've seen Dave Dorn on VTTV do a couple of builds with it on VTTV so I bought some today to try on my Squape.

Would be really interested in an update because I'm not very good at pulling cotton wool balls apart in anything approaching a consistent fashion; 'blobby' is probably a good description of what I end up with - they don't work very well!

lenny59 loobieblooOkay, well I am not the best at re-coiling RBA's normally, but I used it on the Squape with a normal Kanthal micro-coil and the results are good, not mind blowing but good. I then tried it on some Protank heads and even though it looks quite thick off the roll it rolls down nicely and fills the grooves well when the heads are re-assembled so all in all I'm quite pleased with it. £3.99 65m roll in Hobbycraft.

Hi I ordered some about 3 weeks ago of Ebay, about £5.00 fast delivery, good service.
Have been using it in my Squape/Taifun gt/Kaifun lite and my new Expromiser. It seems to work extremely well in all attys where you would use cotton wool, to me you don't get that cotton taste when you first rewick
I even tried it in a Spheriod ,leave it doubled over on the longer wicking side and it vapes great. Flavour wise its on a par with cotton, vapour production perhaps a little less.
Give it a try you might like it and you get loads.

No I havnt I don't seam to have the time for faffing about to much, to be honest its not a problem it only tastes rank for a short while. Give the Fashion Summer a try its not a bank breaker and its a lot less faff.

I am just getting the hang of cotton wool nicely with my micro verging on nano coils so think I'll give this a miss. But it sounds good for others and if's it's that cheap go for it

As this is a white clothing product it must have been bleached and why would the use anything but the cheapest commercial bleach? On last night's VTTV Team Talk show 1:05:00 Dr Farsalinos said to "only use unbleached organic cotton ... without any whitening process". I made this point in chat, but people feel if they don't taste bleach it's OK despite what Dr F said. It's a risk rather than a confirmed danger and I have been using non-chlorine bleached cotton wool and that's going in the bin as soon as I can get some of the off white stuff.

I am also worried about the chemicals used in the dying process. Even white things are usually dyed white where clothing is concerned. I got some of the yarn but then had doubts about it so I wrote to Rico to find out more details. As they haven't replied I'm not too keen on trying it. It would be great if someone could find out more about the manufacturing process.

Simply gentle cotton wool states
•100% Pure Organic Cotton, Soil Association certified •Socially responsible, environmentally friendly growth, production and process •No pesticide residues or chlorine •Ideal for use on newborn babies' delicate skin.
So does that mean no bleach ???
