I have the iTaste VV3.0, and still confused First of all, it states A2.7, yet I'm using Kanger coils which are 2.5 ohm. Now the U is set at 3.8, and P at 8.0. Only one of those 2 can be active at a time. What is the difference, and is one better than the other?

Ok, a VW device takes a reading from your coil, premade coils are rarely spot on To their stated resistance, I would trust your I taste on this over what's printed on your coil.
At the end of the day your delivering volts to the coil. If you are working I voltage mode it will just deliver what you asked for.
If you are working in wattage mode, it will read the resistance of the coil And then calculate how many volts to send, depending on haw many watts You have set it to. The idea being that if you change devices and coils It will always deliver a corrected amount of volts to achieve a simmilar result.
You can only set volts or watts, not both, so don't switch from one mode to the Other as you will just get confused.

doctorjellybean I use mine on the wattage setting only. That way it doesn't matter what tank/s or ohms I use as it will always work the voltage out for me. I find this easier than having to keep changing the voltage settings dependent on ohms etc. Just find the level of power (wattage) to suit your taste and then leave it on that setting. Easy peasy

I too use the wattage mode, leaving the itaste to do the work ie voltage ohms resistance etc it makes life much easier, I find I like mine set at 8.0 watts giving me the th flavour and enough vapour for me Hope you understand doctorjellybean happy vaping
