Going to get some spare 18650 batteries for the Tessla is their and thing I should be careful of? It came with two ICR 2200MAh protected batteries which seem to last about a day so my thinking is to go for some bigger MAh ones in the hope they wil last a little longer is my thinking correct??

Yes a higher mAh rating will give you a longer vape time. AVOID anything with "FIRE" in the name. You do not need protected batteries as the Tessla has protection built in. I'd recommend AW IMR 18650's, Efest IMR 18650's or Panasonic NCR's go as high as 3400 mAh - like THIS (though they are a bit fat so you'll need to check they fit).

I use senybor unprotected 18650A 3100mah batteries in an SVD and get two days moderate to heavy vaping from it so would imagine as DiscoDes has stated that 3400 may last even longer.

Any particular reason 3400 MAh or can you go bigger to say a 4600 MAh?

ArcAngel As I said above the Panasonic 3400's are pretty fat (18.3mm), for instance they fit my Vamo's and SID but don't fit a couple of Mech Mods or my EHPRO TZmax. I am un-aware of any 18650 that goes up to 4600 mAh and would be very suspicious of a manufacturer that had this printed on their 18650 batteries unless they could back it up with test data like this : lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/Panasonic%20NCR18650B%203400mAh%20(Green)%20UK.html

I would expect under a proper test that you would be lucky to get more than 450mAh And just to repeat what everyone says DO NOT USE BATTERIES WITH FIRE IN THE NAMETorchys TrustFire batteries being the exception - he tests them

+1 for Torchy's batteries. At least you know they have been tested.
