Morning fellow vapers please help! I am awaiting in this morning's vapemail my first step up since i begun 2 years ago in the form of a 1000mah evod twist battery. I have only ever used 650-900mah standard, ego and evod batteries so am a little nervous at the VV setup. How would you suggest I start? (apart from connecting clearo to battery!) Should I stick it on the charger first? What setting should i put it to? I am using 1.8ohm Aspire bdc clearo as an adv, 1.5 ohm iclear16 with my evening vape and an old ce4 for my tester juice. Do you have a sweetspot for different clearos? I am so scared I will end up burning all the clearos before I find the sweet spot...and by the way...what is a sweet spot? I ask cause the aspire and normal evod setup has tasted fine i think! Postie is due in the next hour mi thinks

Turn it down to the lowest volts and then take it up slowly. As the voltage rises you will soon find a point where it is working best for you, We are all different so that will be your personal sweet spot. Follow the same process each time you put an atomizer on top, Start low.......work up. Your going to have a great time with your new toy

Thanks markm, so i guess it's just a turn up and see then, cant wait to get it in my hands to look and see how the dial is set etc, just so dont want to ruin clearos that i have had performing without fault for nearly two weeks, especially the aspire as the heads are shall we say delicate!

Mrsmac a good rule of thumb with variable voltage is to add 2 to your atty resistance and start there ie: for a 1.8 ohm atty start at 3.8 volts and move up or down from there in small increments until you find the sweet spot for the eliquid you are using. Edit: the sweet spot is the perfect combination of voltage, atty resistance and eliquid which will give the best combination of throat hit, flavour and vapour that suits you.
