I had a lovely new protank for like a week. Took it out of my pocket earlier and noticed the neck near the beauty ring was wonky. I unscrewed it thinking it was just the threads misaligned and the coil just fell out of the battery. The neck with the threads on is still stuck in there but it's totally sheared off I don't know what to do! I'll get some pictures when I get home. Sorry if I got any of the terms wrong, is the coil the little atomiser thing in the middle? I'm still a bit new to all this. Anyone else had this?

Sounds like you have snapped the tanks 510 threading, you may be able to Screw it out by wedging a suitably sized flat head screwdriver and turning it out. If the threads have been distorted by the break then the battery may be beyond repair. Sounds like the pro tank may be handy for spares.

Ditto above, or if there is space insert long nose pliers, open to grip insides and try unscrewing that way.

Thanks for the replies, the screwdriver method worked well. Unfortunately it wasn't the part I was thinking, it was the base from the protank where the threads had sheared. I wonder if I can get a replacement just for that part?
