dry hit and wicking issue fix

Had trouble with my kfl+ wicking with cotton, I had a homemade high vg juice going through it. And was getting lots of dry hits. Solved by adding a few drops of vodka per 10ml and giving the juice a good shake. It thins the juice slightly allowing it to wick better. It is also virtually tasteless when vaped. 

Distilled water could also be used but not tap water! Any impurities will gunk your coil

Also to note I used boot glycerine (vg) which is not thinned down, aqueous vg (avg) should not need thinning

I just dilute my VG with 10% vodka before mixing.

It's a shame when I get a 500ml bottle of VG I need 50ml of vodka and once opened vodka needs to be drunk immediately or it goes off!

With Ejuice me up calculator it takes 10 % off the 30 if:

The total mix ie is 30 ml overall and not as a % of just the vg. So in a 30ml mix it would be 3ml and not a few drops given that one ml contains 20 drops on average, though that's disputable given many factors.

Using Ejuice me up calc. I have just mixed 5-6 different flavours some just a 30 ml bottle others 100ml.Within the calculator allowing 10% overall???

Doing some brief research on other forums they also quote 10% but is that within the total or just the vg??

I just add the vodka to the bottle of VG to make VG 90% Vodka 10%, so I add 50ml Vodka to a 500ml bottle of VG after taking 50ml of VG out of the bottle. Then I treat it as pure VG. I leave the Water/Vodka/PGA box in EJuiceMeUp at 0%.

I find this gives me a fairly consistent viscosity for the final juice no matter what ratio of PG/VG I make.

10% Vodka for me too, just mix 22ml Vodka with the contents of a 200ml bottle of Boots value health glycerin, it's still quite viscous at this ratio.

Some say the Vodka adds to the throat hit, it's been that long since i used de-ionised water that i can't remember if there's a difference or not.
