Good for you @pep I think it's a great way of seeing this beautiful country. Julie goes to lots of vape meets. We went to a Yorkshire one last year which I thoroughly enjoyed as we also went for a good long drive across the moors. Weather was fab too. I was supposed to go to other various meets around the country, but Vapefest ended up being the only other one due to ill health. I am hoping once we have settled into our new home (wherever it is) I can look forward to a few vape meets around the country with Julie. I have put you guys on the list.

Most of my best friends have come from inside my PC originally! I have met them in person from various fan bases and hobbies and I find that being just a bit physically limited has no effect on friendships, pal I did recent shows with is an online pal from Westlife fanbase, known 10yrs, our children are social pals and we stay over at concerts and room share - shes a great person, a decade younger than I, but similar aged kids! Come Easter i'm off for a week to visit another best pal whose 67 (thats 20 years on me) and lives in East Sussex - who i've known 5 years through X Factor Rhydian fanbase and she's a hoot! we will slob about in her country retreat home and admire her acres and horses and I probably wont get out of my PJ's all week...yes I can talk for England, Ireland and Wales And as its Easter I'm hoping my other pal who's from Basildon, Essex, can come over for a sleepover and catch up, she's 30 and no, theres never a generation gap! she's almost another daughter to me, shes a 'ye olde NKOTB fan' from at least a decade back? - and actually, all my mates have met each other in one way or another over the years - even though we are all from different ends of the country I really do love 'the net'

Long may it continue! I did a similar thing when I lived in Australia. Nearly all the friends I made down there originated from online. BTW... If you ever come to Basildon to see your friend there, please let me know as I only live about 10miles from there. Would love to meet up for a coffee or a chat.

I was thinking of paying a visit lol It's a Liverpool meet so why would you be interested?
I'm just thinking of your illnesses and if anything were to happen then it would be unwise for you.
We would make you welcome :Dwe're like that "us scousers"

I can vouch for that... some of the warmest and friendliest people in the land. Plus they'll be on a 'high' after Sunday's result against Man U. ETA: You just need to be on your toes... they have a wicked sense of humour!

Surely your day would be better spent closer to home with your Daughter?

I see my daughter once a fortnight for 2 hours in a small room with a family support worker watching every move I make and scribbling down on a form.
You werent to know that though
