I know it's a long way off and I know this might be a wee bit premature but......I'm working at Pilton this year. Three stewarding shifts over the five days. We're not allowed to smoke on shift, but I'm hoping that vaping will be ok. My question: what kit to take? Obviously charging will be an issue - won't be near power much but should, in a 24 hour period, get a chance to find some electricity. As I'm only new I've only currently got one piece of kit (yes, I know - back up your back ups...!) so as I'm now intending to spend some more money, I thought it worth asking the question about vaping in a field now so that the kit I buy will have some longevity and work for me throughout the next three months. Currently I've got the Innokin iTaste which seems to have a pretty good battery life. Any recommendations that will fit this base (or new recommendations to satiate my shiny-itus) much appreciated.

Hey, Mr Lairey and I go to at least one festival every year. This year, we are going to Camp Bestival from a Thursday morning to the following Monday. I will be taking 2 x MVP2s, 2 x 1300mah spinners and a few 1100mah ego batteries. I will also take a fully charged 6000mah portable power pack. Think that should last (and I can always pinch one of Mr Lairey's spinners if I have to ) should have no need to pay a fiver to recharge anything.

how nice - I used to live in Glastonbury - but never made it to the festival - lol I think the itaste should be fine - it's not too heavy - easy to put in a pocket - maybe if you have 2 of them - you have time to order one from China - that should get you through the day and if you use an evod - there is a new evod 2 out then it's pretty sturdy as well

Probably slight overkill, as I reckon the 2xMVPs should last me 4 days, but I'll probably vape more then usual, so better safe than sorry

lairey I think if the overwhelming message on these boards is to be believed, then there is no such word as overkill!! Can I ask though - are you suggesting the MVPs because they are such huge battery packs? I do think they look a bit weird because they're so big. Or is there something amazing about them that I'm missing?

I shall get my first mvp hopefully tomorrow - but at a vape meet I saw one and it's actually not that big and not heavy at all - nothing compared to the vtr - lol - so you should be fine with an mvp

wolfvape, the MVP lasts me about 2 days between charges, compared to the spinner, which lasts me less than a day. I have a 2nd one coming tomorrow hopefully. It's about the size of a 10pack of superkings. They do take a bit of getting used to, and I rarely use mine at home, but they are great if you're going out for they day as you dont need to worry about it running out, and they are a pass through, so you can carry on vaping with it, even when on charge

Not all that heavy either - about 150 grams. The VTR is twice as heavy at least!

A special function of the MVP is that it can be used to charge other things - Itaste vv's, mobile phones etc (has got me out of trouble a few times!). If your access to charging facilities is limited then get an MVP and use your charging time for that - it can then boost something else with a bit to spare. The shape is only strange till you get used to it!

Another vote for the mvp 2 off me here , battery life is awsome on them I take it out with me a lot now I'm used to it as at first when I saw people I thought no way , they are too big and heavy but you get used it it and they aren't that heavy . I now like the boxy feel to it . Would be perfect for a festival and should last you . I don't miss having to charge ego battery's every night and worrying that it could die on me
