@munkymunky Im unemployed and currently signed off by doc. (Keep comments to yourselves, im genuinely ill!) This was aimed at me as in the first word typed The unemployed and currently signed off yes. But the rest was to anyone who was planning on giving any grief. sorry for the misunderstanding I didnt mean to cause any upset

Oops I was too eager with my comment but he seems to have taken it in the way it was intended(as a joke) we are both chefs and know how hard of a job it is

Another prime example of the written word being misinterpreted online. I think Steve put the last sentence in brackets to denote it wasn't aimed at you munkeymunkey, but I can see how you would think the way you did.

@munkymunky Im unemployed and currently signed off by doc. (Keep comments to yourselves, im genuinely ill!) I've been in a similar position for a while. And I was genuinely ill as well so I know what it's like. No fun. Anyway, the point of my post was to check you have no resistance wire for your ithaka. You'll need it to make the tails on your coils. Another option is using pre made wires which you can get from stealthvape. It's a bit fiddly at first but well worth the effort, just keep your coils close together and inside the diameter of the ceramic cup and it vapes like a goodun

Look at it as an investment , at least you have bought decent stuff, when I started I spent a ridiculous amount of money on rubbish ce4/ ce5 things and even bought drip tips and heads for the stupid things, honestly I went through about 50 of the things before I saw the light. Wish I had been as wise as you. Should see my drawer filled with empty cigalike cartomisers

No idea about nickel wire but as long as it's no resistance wire it will be fine

I just use pre makes. Never tried making my own yet. It's a nice atty but tricky at first. Kept giving dry hits so I would adjust the juice flow and then it would flood. Tried it with 2mm wicks then 3 then 4 and it seems to work best for me with 2mm. It's a fairly tight draw but plenty of vapour and flavour. Seems to pack a punch as far as nicotine goes too. Not sure why but I get a much bigger nic hit from my ithaka than I do from my kayfun. I found it frustrating at first but now I have had time to get used to it I think it's great, don't give up on it if you disagree with it at first. It's worth the effort

At least you have something to sell if you need cash I started smoking again when I was made redundant and all I had was a pile of ash to show for it.
