Just checked my emails and i had 1 from Microsoft asking me to verify email address and 2 from Asus asking the same,are the scams doing the rounds again as i have not requested anything from either.

Possibly, I've had some from Halifax, HSBC, and Santander asking me to do various things otherwise my accounts will be blocked!! Thing is I don't even bank with any of them!!
Paypal scam emails seem common at the moment, have had a few of those asking for updates etc
I just - 1) either ignore them and never open them, 2) Block them, 3) Report as phishing scam, not much else to do really

Marked them as spam and defo will not click any links to verify or not.I know about microsoft scams but the asus is a new one to me.

guess there are new spams out every day - as long as you delete them and don't open any link it's fine

dont forget, banks etc will never ask for your PIN number and will always use your account name (not username) when they send you an email

I have had instructions from my bank not to open e mails that are not addressed as this; There are 5 'titles' they use for their emails and always add last 3 digits of my post code. I have made a list of these so I know if they are scams/genuine.
Very helpful for me.
