Hi all, So today I received my Brass Nemesis and Kayfun 3.1 clones and I couldn't wait to try them out... I started on the Kayfun, set it all apart, cleaned it, made a microcoil, placed it between the posts, tightened it, put it on the Provari for a test ride and... nothing! Went to Atomizer Ohms setting, tested it out, and error OP showed up. I thought this perhaps was because the coil was too low. Set the Kayfun base on my Paps X, fired it and... nothing. By this time I realized it was probably my bad because I made some error on the coil, so I just recoiled it. Went through all the previous tests only to find the exact same results... Any tips ? I think it is probably the Kayfun's probably as this has never happened to me before... So a little disappointed I headed to the Nemesis, cleaned it all up, installed the magnets, set it up on 18350 mode, put a battery in it and it rattled. I tried tighten the button a bit but it only stopped when it was fully closed, hence I couldn't fire it. Tried it in 18490/18500 mode, same problem. Tried it in 18650 mode, and the exact same problem. So. Am I making any kind of obvious mistake here? I'm very disappointed atm :s Any way to sort this out? I believe the threading on the top cap are too short, or the main piece of the body (with the symbol) is too long hence I'm having this problem. Is this common on Hcigar Clones? I was very excited with my first clone purchases, but if I can't sort this out I'm probably going to contact the store and ask for a fix of this problem as I think it is just unacceptable... I'm sad, hope it is just some obvious thing I'm making wrong but I can't seem to see what it may be. Waiting for your help, Cheers Aldo

Have you got a kick in the nemi? If not, have you got the kick ring on it? That would make it a little too long for the batteries

Nemesis has an adjustable top pin and bottom pin that will eliminate battery rattle. Could also be that the 510 connection on the kayfun is not completing the circuit due to the position of the top pin

I don't have the Kick in the Nemesis, and I don't have the Kick Ring in it too (it wasn't included). I have tried lowering the top pin to the maximum, and it would only stop rattling when I had pushed the button up so much that I would not be able to activate it... :S I tried lowering the 510connection pin, but it still didn't work, then I put it back to the start and it still didn't work :s

Take the top pin out and attach the atomiser until it sits flush on the top cap. Screw e top pin back in until it makes contact with the atty. put the battery in the tube. Attach the switch and screw it in to adjust for battery rattle. If that doesn't work your tube is too long.

erik514 I did exactly that, and I had to tighten the button all the way, so I'm assuming my tube is indeed too long! Steve (VapeStorm) a picture of exactly what? Perhaps any of you could measure your tubes lenght so I can compare it? I would greatly appreciate it... Cheers

With fully tightened button, I measured 53mm from bottom to top of the main tube (the one with the symbol). My top cap measures 10mm+3mm threads. 18500 extension is 15mm+3mm threads and 18650 tube is 30mm with 3mm threads. I'm assuming the extension tubes are just fine. Cheers

I don't have anything to measure mine with just now but can do it tomorrow if nobody else can help first. Can you post some photos in case someone might be able to see what is causing the problem?

If your bank balance is the same as mine it would actually be a relief if someone would take it lol

Firstly Aldo the mod even though it is a clone should come with the kick ring, i have never had one without it. forget the top pin for a second, the black delrin in the switch is it higher than the contact pin, the delrin in the swithch housing takes out battery rattle, i would unscrew this slightly and then reassemble the device, i have used flat top and nipple top batteries, try this first and then come back to us
