Been playing around with my one .... Built a dual coil 1.2ohms ... Just trying to sort the wicking issues out... Passing 2 CW wicks through the 2 notches makes them too compressed, so I'm in the process of thinning them out... So far it's not much better than the single coil but I'm still tweaking Cotton lace is what you need Two 1.5mm microcoils and one strand of lace through each then both through the channel or One 3mm microcoil and cotton lace doubled, that's what I'm vaping on right now as I type www.hobbycraft.co.uk/rico-fashion-summer-white/585331-1000I'm a silica man at heart, cotton wool just never did my cocomel justice- but this stuff is just

I saw a video (P Bursado I think) and he used SS mesh through a microcoil with a piece of Ekowool across the top.

If I had any cotton lace I'd have given that a go blakey.... But I haven't ...but I might invest in some .... I'm in the fortunate position of having 2 bases to play with thanks to FT sending me a replacement SS on for the chrome plated brass the clone came with ... I use that one for practicing

I use that one for practicing I had the same thing with the fasttech ones, ended up with two extra aties and two replacement bases so I now have 4 clones and two spare brass coated bases Using the genuine GTs at the moment, decided I liked the attie for its ease of re-wicking without draining juice and with the lace through a microcoil it takes seconds It's a lump of an attie but it sits nice on this DNA 30 box mod I have here. Give the squape or the clone a go mate, if you like the GT then you'll be in for a treat with the squape too

Lol ... I have one ... Just got it working ... I had the dodgy 510 pin issue... But I just had an idea literally 10 mins ago... Removed the 510 screw ... Stuck a length of kanthal down the hole ... Re-inserted the screw and hooray !!! I've even filled it with the snake oil I've been ignoring for the last 3 months .... Vapes really great ... Although a bit on the airy side .... I can feel another twisted sub ohm coil coming on !! ..... ( love it when the wifey is away for the night ... I get to tinker !)

Gonna stick with this I was just about to say that the taifun isn't really a dual coil atty, as the airflow would pass in between the coils the way it was coiled, the Taifun does not need dual coils anyway as it is a great vape setting it up as per the standard instructions, (for me personally anyway)
