evod vs protank mini... flavour and coils?

Hi all,

My brother has dropped his battery from his protank mini kit in a puddle.... clumsy idiot

Was just about to order him another protank mini kit from myepack when I thought as the evod kit has two batteries it might be better for him.

Does the flavour taste the same between the two, both being bottom coil? I've never used a evod myself.

Seem to remember reading somewhere that the protank coils fit the evods, but not the other way round, is that right?

He is back on the cigs at the moment and ain't interested in variable stuff/mods otherwise I would of given him something of mine.

the coils are the same - you can use them for both - I personally prefer the protank a bit to the evod - but then I love a metal mouth piece - the evod is nice and certainly has the advantage of being very sturdy

Didn't think of the the plastic drip tip... I'll have to ask him..... though sturdy is good, he does manual stuff and is a clumsy bugger

If you buy the evod kit his protank minis will still fit so he will have extra clearo's too and the protank coils will fit just the single coils though as the protank 3 and protank mini 3 are dual coils and won't fit the single coil one. They do the other way round though single coils will fit the 3's if that makes sense lol. The battery that dropped in a puddle might be usable again after a few days drying out if not broken.

The Evods do have plastic tanks which can crack when using certain juices. Saying that evods are cheap as chips which is always a bonus. I personally prefer the protank mini's not that it is a better vape, but I l think it looks better.

Forgot the that evods were plastic...
Can't see him being careful with juices, anything happens he will be on phone to me so might just go with the protank kit again, even though only one battery.

Does he vape tank cracking juices? If not, evods won't be a problem. And 2 batteries would be REALLY good when he drops the next one in a puddle

Just for interest, my chi-vods from fasttech do not crack with cinnamon red hots. Not been brave enough to try aniseed though!

As babs said, turn it upside down (possibly in the airing cupboard if its not too warm) and let it dry out for a week. It may work again.

Think he has already thrown battery away.

Ordered him the evod kit anyhow, I've got spare protank minis he can have if knackers them.
