Help DID clone coil

Hi all hope you can help bought a DID clone over the weekend and I can't work out what's going on with the coil im 0.2 /32awg kanthan wire but the raps don't add up I'm doing 5 raps to give me 2.4ohm but I'm getting 1.4 ohm I have just cleaned my DID clone ready to fit a new tank.

i have taken pics hope you can maybe tell me if I'm rapping the coils wrong or something

The resistance that you get depends not only on the gauge of the wire and the number of wraps but also the diameter of whatever you are wrapping it around ... 5 wraps around a 1mm wick will use less wire than 5 wraps around a 2mm wick ... it is the overall length of the wire used that determines the resistance.

If sm wicks is anything to do with genesis style atties, I ain't the man ... slica atties and cartos only I'm afraid but one of the gennie guys should be able to answer your question before too long.

Thanks just filled tank up and my coil and wick keep setting on fire wtf lol was ok till I taken it apart and rebuilt it
