I've seen a digital tank that fits on the mod for reading voltage. Any suggestion guys where I can get it from in the uk.

I've got the one in eBay link, works good. Interesting actually know the voltage drop you get batteries... Even a battery fully charged at 4.2 won't fire at this when used. I would check lower subohm setups for this only with caution as might melt the wires in tankometer(was told that elsewhere)... That said I've used on 0.5ohm setup just out of curiosity.
Mostly use just to check if the voltage is low or if its just me.
sent via tapatalk! it works!

Been thinking about this since yesterday. Might even be better to get a meter. Then can check batteries on their own as well as the atty. If it does ohm and volts. Have to have a look around as to how much and where to get one. Maybe Maplins??

I borrow my bosses voltmeter sometimes to check my loose batteries, easy enough but not as convenient for out and about. Coils I check on mvp.
Do you mean ohms checker which has connection for checking battery in mod/ego too? doubt maplins will have anything with a 510 connection, but you can check ohms of coil with voltmeter, though I've never done it.

What I'm thinking of is called...I think a multi meter. You know, like the small square gizmos with a couple of prongs. They usually run on a battery inside. You just need to touch the + and - points to confirm either volts or ohms. Does touching the centre post and side read ohms and ditto with the battery. I may be totally barking up the wrong tree LOL.
Don't they use them in electronics.

Some videos on youtube using voltmeter too check coil, so can be done, looks more of a faff than using something with a 510 connection though... this is just first one I found

I got a perfectly decent multimeter on eBay, £2.85 free postage. that'll do the trick without breaking the bank!

If you don't currently have any means of measuring voltage and resistance then a decent multimeter would be a much more useful choice, it could be put into service for other applications around the home. A tankometer is a quicker way of checking battery state in a mechanical mod plus you can check the voltage drop in use, that's a lot harder to do with a multimeter.

hehe couldnt resist just bought it from the ebay link lol just starting using nemi so reading whats left in my batts will come in handy dont want them going to low I was paranoid about that. Everyone says you will know as vape will trail off... which is true to a point. However I managed to let one battery go down to point that it would barely fire(was out and hadn't noticed/thought it was just me) so swapped it out, checked with multimeter next morning and was at the limit for discharge... Bit too close! After getting tankometer I've learnt to tell better and have meter if not sure, tend to swap out at 3.6 ish now, and when I check as vape deteriorating always about there. sent via tapatalk! it works!
