Darkstar - Blackcurrant

I ordered this along with 5 other 10ml samples, they were posted monday evening and they arrived this morning which was great. They all smelled quite different, but a good few of them smelled equally inspiring. Each is 24mg/ml.
I didn't have a favourite smelling as such, so I checked the dates they were bottled and blackcurrant was the earliest - 19/02. I put it in a new clearo so it needed a little priming but I can taste it really well now.
It has quite a lot of character! Overall all It balances well and does taste quite like blackcurrant. On the inhale it's quite sweet and sharp to the tip of the palate On the exhale it kind of has a sugary ribena like flavour to it. Through the exhale it becomes fused with a subtle tones of spice, it's an enjoyable vape.
My taste buds do find it a little bland after I've vaped it for a few hours. It's becomes a little sour tasting to my palate but this is probably just personal preference. However, it's still reminiscent of blackurrant. I have noticed it really comes to life when my taste buds are active. I ate an orange earlier and had a vape shortly after and it was a lot more flavoursome again.
Because of that ans as someone who prefers non tobacco flavours, I'd probably choose this as a juice to vape after food as it tastes real nice when my taste buds are alive, but as an all day vape I think I'd prefer something with a bit more punch. Just my honest opinions. Definitely worth trying if you like fruity flavours, in no way is it bad vape

Thought it would be worth updating this. Reflecting upon my initial review a few things have changed. Firstly, my taste buds took some adjusting to this flavour. I have only stopped smoking for 2-3 weeks and I think my taste buds are still improving. A big shout out to darkstar, this is blackcurrant through and through, and the flavour of the vapour is quite true to that of the fruit. It's got a nice balance of the sweet and sour aspects and has, over a few days, become one of my go to vapes. Even with dual top coils, the hit is smooth and full feeling and leaves a pleasantly nice aftertaste.
Also I think my iclear16 is hitting alot nicer now so probably gives a fairer picture of the juice as a whole. Just for reference, it's 70/30 pg/vg (all darkstar juice so far seem to be. IMO, if you like your fruit flavours then this is definitely a juice worth trying. This is just according to my own likes and tastes and I only thought it fair my review reflected that they have changed.

I just got my order from Darkstar this morning.
Desert Ship
Royal
Liquid Amber
Black Fire
Fresh Lime.
So far the Royal is a good smooth tobacco and I dunno if I'm imagining it but I'm getting a subtle coolness on the exhale.
The free bottle of Fresh Lime is really nice. I didn't think I'd like fruit flavours but this is really tangy with a kinda complex taste as well, spicy?
Not sure how good my taste buds are after smoking for 23 years lol only been vaping a month
The Black Fire is a full bodied, strong smokey tobacco

Thanks for the follow up Mikey@Vaporized, I like the way you are explaining what a lot of us have found; that our taste changes as we get further away from Smoking. I found my tastes settled after 5 or 6 weeks, and what I liked at first, I'm not that keen on now. If you have any more juice reviews I'd like to read them as well, you've already got me looking at Darkstar for my next order!!

I have tried all the others now smity, some were great and some not so great. Will get some reviews up tonight while chillin at home. Keep an eye out if you are interested
