Am in need of some help and words of wisdom. Am getting myself some T juice tomorrow. The question is what strength would you all advise. I usually go for 18/16 mg dekang or similar but have been getting some head aches. Am thinking it might be to strong? Tia

for how long have you been vaping ? and how many ciggies did you smoke before ? - don't go too quickly down with the nicotine - the headaches might have another reason - like dehydration - drink loads and fruits also help against headaches - if they have 16 - just go for that

2 years just over. I drink a lot water and I mean a lot. Seems like I only get them from the ry4 from dekang? ?? Was on 20 a day.

corey85 - if your not getting headaches from any other flavours, then it may be the RY4 is the culprit. You could always get one bottle of juice with less nicotine and give it a try, see if it suits you. I personally started vaping at 18mg but have now gradually gone down to 8mg. The only thing I notice different is the throat hit is not as strong. In fact for me flavour is better with less nic. Everyone is different and should use what is best for them, but no harm in trying different strengths and ratios.

I'd say to go with 16mg and see how you get on.. as iLardyboy said, if it's just the ry4, it could be one of the ingredients that doesn't agree with you. on the other hand, it could be the pg/vg ratio.. what ratios are the juices that you use? I only ask as tjuice comes at 80% pg/20% vg as standard. It may be that you have an intolerance to pg (seems to be more prominent lately) and this could be the cause of your headaches.. high nicotine for me just gives me a buzz if I overdo it. Only ever got headaches from high pg levels ( I mix my juices at 50/50 now) and dehydration.

Theres always the concentrate route and mix your own. After the initial outlay of nic juice pg/vg you'll save money and you also have the added satisfaction of tweaking flavour strength to your exact liking. Mix a couple of small batches up say around 5ml and test. I've just mixed 90ml of red astaire at the strength I like it and I'm happy in the knowledge I've got a nice mix as I like it waiting for me when I've finished the 30ml I've been working through this last week. I've also had some jack the ripple steeping for a week, I hear that one is a bit marmite but I'll give it a try. You may even find yourself looking around various suppliers at different flavourings to concoct your own recipes
